- What running/events mean to you?: Races provide a goal to keep training on track. I think they build character, too; especially when you are just so worn out and you still have several miles to go, so you just keep pushing on. I get a huge sense of accomplishment from finishing each one. It is a good self esteem builder.

- Post race treat: there is usually a margarita in my future sometime in the next 24 hours after a race
- Favorite music to run to: Tend to listen to anything on the Hit List these days that my teenagers download to Itunes. Honestly, Justin Timberlake has a great beat and the songs are at least 7 minutes long.
- What running/events mean to you?: Races are motivators to exercise. I have been moved many times by what my four children say and do when they see me exercise consistently and complete races. They have been motivated to do their own races and triathlons without me saying a word. And there is nothing better than running outside in the fresh air. It rocks!
